Be careful! We had ours installed by a licensed plumber who had to cut out part of the wall in our closet to access it. The valve works fine except the diverter valve does not completely close off the water so a small stream still comes out the tub spout. I think this is the reason the water pressure out of the shower head is less than the old valve allowed. It's not like it's easy to send it back for a replacement. Disappointed in the total function, but overall, it does the job & doesn't leak. We might have to use a spout diverter or something.
