The DMS series rails are the perfect addition for pools with stairs and sloped entries. 1.90-Inch outer diameter tubing. 304 grade stainless steel. 0.049 wall thickness. Does not include escutcheons or anchors. If you have a salt chlorination pool you will want to upgrade to the sealed steel DMS series rails to resist corrosion.

This rail requires anchors to provide stability. If your deck holes do not have anchors, as was my case, the rail will be very wobbly and unsafe. A solution is to use a reinforced rail but the seller refused to do an exchange. They offered a return but won't help with shipping. The shipping cost was more than what I paid for the rail. I contacted the seller to explain and was told, "Your mistake is not our problem."

This works perfectly for my pool. It cost more to have the holes drilled in the concrete than the purchase price, but well worth it. Used epoxy to anchor which worked very well- set up in 20 minutes and very solid. Took 3 tubes which cost over 60 dollars.

Will work well with our older pool that we really don't want to drill into the pool itself. This will be a great help getting Grandma in the pool. Shipped quickly and in perfect shape.

Bought this rail set of 2 although there were others a little cheaper, but the title of the ad made it seem as if it came with anchors (about $30/pr if bought separately). So I bought these as they were only $20 more than similar items. As it turns out, apparently only the colored handrails come with matching colored anchors (?) Why the plain stainless doesn't also include anchors I don't know. It was not at all obvious in the title which says: "Comes with matching anchors" so I didn't get all I expected and would have bought the same product for less had I known. Fortunately, I had something else I was able to use as anchors, so they are installed and look good. They did arrive quickly and undamaged.

Buyer beware, matching escutcheons are NOT included with this item as indicated by the advertisement title. I ordered this product instead of others specifically because they were supposed to be included. If they were included I couldn't order the wrong one, right? Except they didn't come and according to the Amazon customer service rep to whom I chatted were never intended to be included. It was a typo in the listing on their part, but there was nothing she could do about it except put in a request to have the listing changed so other customers would not be misled. (Forget about doing anything to satisfy THIS customer I guess.) She also told me that I could order escutcheons online . . . however she couldn't guarantee they would be the correct ones to fit. What? Am very dissatisfied with Amazon customer support and this particular purchase at the moment.

The stainless steel handrail arrived quickly as did the accessories. the only hiccup was in the packaging which was insufficient to prevent scratching the handrail. I recommend better packaging including protection of the rail near the openings by using tape or padding. While this defect does not affect function, it created a rough spot on the rail.George
