I recently got this set of stage lights for an event and I am beyond impressed with the quality and functionality. The 36 LED lights are bright and vibrant, and the RGB colors are stunning. The sound activation feature works seamlessly and adds an extra dynamic element to any party or event. The remote control is easy to use and allows for quick adjustments on the fly. These lights are perfect for creating a lively and energetic atmosphere, whether it be for a disco, wedding, club, or any other event. Overall, I highly recommend these lights for anyone looking to add some excitement to their parties or events.

I'm going to split this up into a few different perspectives for the beginners and those who have used par lights in the past, because you'll experience these very differently as members of those groups.FOR Beginners:Plug them in and hit "Menu" twice to exit DMX mode and use the buttons on the back or the remote to select the lighting effect you want. There is a list of modes (solid color, flashing, strobe, music activated, etc) in the instructions. This is an imporant list, which brings me to the next thing...Do yourself a favor and copy the instructions, then use tape or laminate them and attach them to the power cord with a cable tie or rubber band. You will thank me later. This will allow you or anyone using it to quickly figure out how to get to different lighting modes. The remote is not going to do everything for you, and if you get them all doing different things, the remote will not sync their colors in some modes. You need those codes.I've included photos that show how to assemble the light with the included stands. The bottom holes are for mounting on light stands that are not included. The DMX inputs/outputs are for use with professional lighting controllers. This is a separate piece of equipment and cables. You don't need it to just plug them in and use them. You need a separate power connection for each light if you are not using dmx/power combo cables. These are not XLR cables. These would be great for family karaoke, indoor holiday decorations, parties, etc. The lights and stands are pretty flimsy, so don't expect that you can set them up/take them down a million times and knock them around without issue. I'm saving the box because it's well padded, and that's how I'll store them. Just manage your expectations and you'll be fine.FOR PROFESSSIONALS or experienced light users:If you've used professional par or slim par lights, these are the same idea, just far less well constructed and also far less expensive. The do have DMX in/out, but there is not a power in/out daisy chain outlet like most professional models, so unless you're using a DMX/power combo cable, you'll need a separate plug for each individual light. They power on in DMX mode. Press menu twice to switch to manual or remote control. The stands are pretty flimsy and even the selection buttons on the back feel like they'd break if I let an 8 year old push them. I'd control as much as possible with the remotes. Due to the construction, I feel like these would be ok for home use/family events or maybe a church where they can be installed and then never move again. I would not expect to get a ton of longevity out of these, but as most professionals know, you get what you pay for, and these will function in a pinch.

Pics 1&2 was as received. Being very inexpensive, as expected the brackets are rather thin - still useful, but bend at the slightest touch. Notice in pic 3 that the IR sensor is on the face (replacing one of the faceplate assembly screws) and somewhat recessed - therefore the remote control has to be rather much aimed directly at the face of the fixture (not at too much of an angle) to be used, however the control range was in excess of 60 feet!Pic 4 is an internal view showing the first issue - the power supply circuit board being held in place by a single screw into a plastic post. This is not the safest construction in my view. Pic 5 is the IR sensor held in place by hot melt glue - not sure how long that will last. Pics 6&7 are my biggest concern. The AC power wires are soldered to the bottom of the circuit board, and could have easily been placed into a connector that mated with the connector already mounted on the top of the circuit board. This is unfortunately a common practice with many imports and is very bad/unsafe manufacturing technique - and probably save a whole $0.05. I will retrofit mine with a proper connector with crimp pins.Pic 8 is a view of the LED board utilizing the new technology of surface mount LEDs. They are not as powerful (only 1-watt each) as the older technology (at 3-watts each), but generate far less heat - hence the lack of a cooling fan - which is not needed in this fixture as it gets barely warm.NO USER GUIDE/MANUAL WAS INCLUDED! Since this fixture was an absolute clone of another fixture I received a short while ago, and even used an identical remote control, I compared the setup and DMX to the other fixture. Success! It matched! Well, almost. The strobe mode selection is found after the blue brightness, but before the solid color selection. I included it in Pic 9 (which is from a different supplier - who also had the same error in the "data table:)!The this fixture is not as powerful as most units that are larger and more expensive, but certainly quite cost effective.......assuming your expectations are appropriate the amount of light output. The remote control was responsive and all functions worked properly, as did the DMX control which matched the OTHER SUPPLIER'S user guide. The fade process was smooth. The LED manual control has some odd designations for fade, vs pulse, etc. but after a few minutes of playing around with it, all operations become obvious. Master/Slave function works properly. Two separate remote controls are included for the 4 fixtures.I only wish that they took more care on the safety issue with AC wiring and power supply mounting - SO DON'T DROP IT! Therefore the 3-stars is VERY generous (IMHO). Minus 1 for AC wiring safety, and minus one for no user guide/manual.
