My brother had asked about looking as his mower and my husband looked and said the carburetor needed to be replaced. So we looked online and found this one. It was the exact on that was already on it. Took about 15 minutes to change out and once it was the mower cranked up each and every time. Referred this item to my Brother. Should be getting more as backup.

I have a Bolen's mower with the 500E Briggs & Stratton engine. It seems the original carburetor either clogged up or just failed. I bought this new replacement from Startzeal and it performed as advertised. Installation is pretty straightforward with basic tools. A close inspection of the new and old unit confirmed fitment. I had the new unit installed in about 5 minutes. Priming was no issue and getting the mower running was immediate after installed. I proceeded to mow my low and the carburetor performed flawlessly. Time will tell reliability wise, but so far, no complaints whatsoever.

Definitely recommend this carburetor. I previously replaced the jets in factory carb and that didn’t help. Still took 5 pulls to start so I decided to try this complete carburetor instead and I’m glad I did. Put it on and primed it 5 times and it started on first pull. If you’re having trouble starting your mower with a Briggs engine with a plastic carb this will solve the problem for less than 15 bucks. Starts and runs like a new mower.

This carburetor fit my mower and was easily installed. It worked great for 3 weeks. For 15 bucks I did not expect it to last a lifetime, but I expected it to last more than 3 weeks. There is a one-way plastic valve that is inserted into the body of the carburetor that creates creates the vacuum for the primer. That piece fell out and no longer functions, so this carb is useless. Actually, it's the same issue that I had on the original Briggs & Stratton carb, but at least it lasted for 6 years. I would recommend trying a different brand or buying the actual Briggs part ( about 50 bucks), which is what I am going to do now. At least it will last for a few years instead of a few weeks. Save yourself some time and don't buy this cheap Chinese crap.

Great fit, lined up perfectly and simple to install. Also alot easier than doing a rebuild, cheaper than what a kit used to be also.Put gas in it and off my mower was running again. Very nice.

Replaced the orm carburetor with this one. Fit perfectly on my briggs and stratton 300 series push mower. Primed a few times and fires right up. Would definitely recommend. Great value for what you get. Definitely a quality product. Preformed exactly as needed.

This is an exact replacement for the factory plastic type material carburetor for some Briggs and Stratton engines. I got the engine size off the tag on the mower and did a search and it came up as the replacement. I watched a video online and it looked like it was easy to replace so ordered one. It arrived quickly and looked exactly like the original. I used a small pair of long nose locking vise grips to close off the fuel supply line and took the cover off the mower. Then I removed the four screws holding it on and removed the fuel line and removed it. Just reversed the steps using the new one and put it back together and the entire job took around 30 minutes. Since you have to remove the gas tank to put this on, I dumped the dirty gas into a disposable container and cleaned the trash out of the tank That also makes it easier to reinstall everything since there won’t be any gas inside the tank to leak. Dirty gas in the tank is what caused the old carburetor to stop working in the first place.Put some fresh gas in the tank and it started on the second pull and ran great. If your mower isnt running anyway it’s worth a chance to replace this since it cost less than $20 and it may fix it so you don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on a replacement mower.
