I needed to add sections of 2 inch PVC schedule 80 drop pipe to lower water well pump. All the pipe I looked at did not come threaded. My local hardware store would not thread it because their pipe threader crushes the PVC. I was told I would need a special PVC die which I couldn't find. I purchased this die by Dragon and their ratchet handle. I did not use any type cutting fluid just went slow and easy. It cut perfect threads. In the future I will need to replace the well pump. When adding this new pipe I found that the old couplings had frozen to the original PVC & I could not break loose. The PVC started collapsing under the stress of the pipe wrench. I had to cut the coupling off & rethread the pipe so I'm guessing I will need to do this to each section of pipe when it's time to replace the pump. Glad to have this tool & the winch which I also purchased through Amazon.
