Seems to work ok for now. But typical empi product, takes a lot of effort to make it fit because it doesn't right out the box. Avoid empi if possible

This is a must have when replacing an early bug steering box. I replaced the OEM bug steering box with a TRW one, and came a 1/2” to and inch short attaching the steering shaft to the steering box shaft. This shaft mount has a longer notch cut out that allows the length difference that the OEM shaft mount doesn’t have. Glad I got this!
