If you buy this be prepared to modify this because any chevy/gmc can be started even with this on they need to add a sleeve for the piece going to the dash board can be broken and accessed and car can be started

A good product and it does what I need it to do. I do find the unit is bulky and could be smaller and do the same use. My application is a 1991 GMC truck with tilt steering column.

This device has the worst lock design I have ever seen on a security device or a locking device period. The locking rod doesn’t extend deep enough into the lock slot, it is spring loaded and with slight pressure will slide open. The case seems sturdy, but very poor lock.Without a redesign of the lock, l would not recommend this device. The device is useless for its intended purpose. I am returning my device .
