The step drill bits are good quality staying sharp after drilling several holes. They function well having useful size increments for each step of the drill bits. The shafts are ridgid and shouldn't break easily. The 3 pack of different sizes are very usefulnand a good value for the money.

I've used a few of these exact style step drills from the local freight harbor store before. They work pretty well to enlarge holes for passing wires through and such. You still need to drill a pilot hole large enough to get these started first, but the "blades" will cut through thinner metals pretty quickly if you go slow and keep oil on the bit. Overall I am pleased with the initial quality and will revisit my review if they are surprisingly good or bad.
