StewMac Micro-Mesh Touch-Up Stick

Cushioned for a scratch-free mirror finish. Three Micro-Mesh abrasives in one handy tool, about the size of a pencil.

Perfect for small touch-ups on glossy finishes, the Touch-up Stick is padded so it flexes and conforms gently to the work. We rely on these in our own shops for finish touch-ups and repairs.

The stick includes three Micro-Mesh grits on a padded core (5-3/4" x 1/2" size).

Black: 2400 grit

White: 4000 grit

Grey: 12000 grit

Micro-Mesh features tiny abrasive crystals on resilient cloth-backed latex. These gentle "cushioned" particles generate less heat and friction than ordinary finishing papers, don't load up as quickly, and last up to 15 times longer. Use Micro-Mesh with soapy water to produce a scratch-free mirror shine on finishes and pickguards. Great for repairing scratches and overspray. Use them for polishing frets, too.

Micro-Mesh was developed for polishing jet windshields to maintain their optical clarity. Imagine how your instrument will look!

Great product! StewMac isn’t the cheapest around, but I find their products superior in many cases. They simply last.

This is an OK product! I thought Stew Mac gave great service. What I'm struggling with is how can you charge $9.00 + for a glorified Emery board (I know it's not an emery board) that is less than 6" long and 1/2" wide and ship it in a box big enough to hold 50 of them. Are you gouging on shipping? This could have easily shipped in an in a standard letter envelope.I didn't pay shipping because of prime membership but if I hadn't I'm sure it wouldn't have shipped this way. And it was shipped from Stew Mac.UPDATE! Direct from Stew Mac $3.43 eachFrom Stew Mac Amazon $9.00+. What a scam!!Must be Covid ,Now 1 star rating and will never buy from either company going forward!!!
