Overall a decent kit. I had to shim the neck but had a hard time getting upper frets not to fret out. I ended up releveling all of the frets and using a .25 degree shim. It finally worked. The single coil is fairly thin sounding. The humbucker is great. I did use locking tuners instead of what came with the kit. The bridge isn’t the best when using string through the way it was set up. It would be better to drill the body and put the strings in through bottom. It works fine now after finishing. I just consider it not as good as the other Stewmac kits I have built. I also had to sand the neck and joint a bit because the connection was too tight. I consider the kit acceptable for the price.
