General Chemical Paint Stripper 9900 for Cured Coating Removal
Old coatings can decrease efficiency and become dangerous as they degrade over time. StripPaint 9900 is specially formulated to remove coatings from a variety of surfaces so you can start over with a fresh clean surface. You can remove wet coatings, powdered coatings, and ecoatings easily. This coating remover is formulated to work perfectly with metal surfaces including brass, stainless steel, aluminum, zinc, magnesium, steel substrates, and more.
Stripping coatings is easy. Fill an immersion tank with 50% StripPaint 9900 and 50% water. Immerse any tools or parts you need to strip and heat the tank to 185℉ for 20-60 minutes. Remove the tools and use a pressure washer to rinse everything clean.

If you need to remove new or old powder coat( because you have a new hobby and still working out the kinks and screwed your parts up) this stuff works! You have to get it to at least 185 degrees, be patient, and it will remove it like a hot knife thru butter!

I thought this stuff would take off powder coat but I doubt it will, I had a welding table that was covered in spray paint ( kinda thick 1/8” ) I stripped with this product, I was shocked that it took 5 Applications to get to bare metal especially since I hit it with a 5000psi power washer turbo tip between Applications, it worked but I wasn’t impressed
