Angled lower mount not included and ipad mount only has rear connector. I'll make it work paired with an iPad mount with bottom connector.

If you're planning to use your iPad outdoors in the sun, this is the best product I've found. It is constructed well, has all of the features one would want for secure iPad attachment, and it's made of sturdy material. The only issue is finding the right combination of tripod and adapter to fit it properly. Eventually, I found both, but not without great effort.

Big enough and a bit heavy. Still I'm ok here seems I either buy a better tablet remote mount to cover the weight or just tripod mount this new hood. Now the tripod mount included is lacking in the ball mounts lockup as its all plastic and my tab is already 420 grams not adding the hood itself. The hood is very good on its own and only cost $13 to rival $40 products IMO, I just wish the ball mount was metal and the tripod mount had a inch or two more rise. Still your getting as much as you paid for and then some in the hood and this will work for now I think. Got a good clamp mount and ball head already and want a great hood then drop the 13 bucks and get this. Hood constriction is vinyl board and velcro very good actually.

Product seems to be ok but the hood came with a 1 1/2 cut in the top of the vinyl hood.not worth the cost to ship back but would be nice to get a replacement hood . Bracket is all well

I was extremely disappointed -- disgusted, actually -- with the way they designed the mount for putting this sunshade on a tripod. They need to have included an angle bracket. Without that bracket, the shade simply cannot be positioned properly with the tripod's mounting plate in the usual horizontal position. What I have to do is position the plate vertically, which leaves all the weight of the iPad and shade on the flimsy plastic stem that is part of the ball joint socket. The shade is fine, but that mount is crap. Summitlink needs to fix this. I figured out a jiggered solution, which includes me cutting slots in the shades for an iPad tripod mount I bought from another company. And the product is NOT worth the price!

This shade is fantastic! Does just as advertised. Some might say it is cheaply made but it is made to be light weight and does exactly as it is supposed to do. Very pleased with this purchase.
