I was able to repair my Topeak Joe Blow bicycle pump with the Sunlite Twinhead Pump Hose Kit.I could not use the hose part because my pump had a plastic pressure fitting on the pump side of the hose.I replaced the pump head by:1) removing all hardware from the pump head side of the old hose.2) pulling the internal fitting from the new hose3) inserting the new internal fitting into the old hose, after changing the old with the new screw cap. Then just tightening the new screw cap onto the new pump head.Once all was complete, the repaired pump head worked nicely.

Not that hard to replace on my Topeka SlowBlow air pump. After removing the old line, there is plastic insert at the end of the hose that goes into the base of the pump. Recommendation. I heated up the new hose with hot water to make it more flexible, added soap water. Then put the air piece insert as much as you can, place it down on a table, push the hose down to force it in...that did it for me - less than 3 minutes.

The bicycle shop told me the parts were not available to fix my expensive Blackburn bicycle tire pump. They also told me that Blackburn would not honor the lifetime warranty but that is a different story. This hose was all I needed to get it working again. I highly recommend it. Fix up your old bicycle pump instead of throwing it away! This hose did the trick for me!

I find this type of hammerhead chuck easier to use than the one- or two-port universal heads which require more room above the valve. My pump with this head on it is the one people borrow when they need to pump up a small-diameter wheel with a lot of spokes. With a little dexterity this chuck can be put on a valve with one hand and partially locked, then fully locked with two hands; this isn't possible with the other types of pump heads.

Good replacement head for my pump, seals well, a little hard to lock down but works really well once it does. That’s why it’s only four star

Works great! I used it to replace the module on a LEZYNE floor drive. Just slipped right on, I didn't even use a hose clamp but only use it for mountain bikes, so the higher pressure of a road bike might require a hose clamp.Seems very sturdy, I leave the pump in my rooftop box and it hasn't shown any wear, use it maybe 2 times a week.leaks a bit before you use the selector to choose between Presta and Schrader but seals after that.

The head on my Topeak floor pump began to leak air when engaged with the tube. This replacement works perfectly and is less than 1/2 the price of the Topeak branded equivalent. As other reviews state, you will need the hardware from the existing pump to connect the hose. This part just has the twin head, and it ends with a bare hose end, no additional parts or hardware included. The twin head is sturdy and solid, but it has more of a plastic feel than the original Topeak. The hose is longer than stock which is useful. For the Topeak floor pump, I removed the original hose and had to cut the hose to remove the fitting to ensure that it was not damaged. It is plastic and I was concerned that I would damage it if I tried to remove it with a metal tool. Put the screw ring over the hose first, then insert the fitting, and attach it to the pump. For me it worked without any further effort.

I bought two of these kits to replace worn heads on an old Nashbar and a Topeak Joe Blow Turbo pump. The Nashbar pump came with a head with two separate openings for presta and schrader valves facing the same direction. The Topeak pump had a smart head with a single opening that was supposed to fit on both types of valves. With time, both heads started to lose their seal, especially on tubes that are not fully threaded. I also tended to lose a fair amount of air when removing the head. I thought it made more sense to have separate heads for each valve type, so I bought the Sunlite Twinhead pump kit. Installation was straightforward. For the Nashbar pump, I removed the old hose by loosening the collar at the base of the pump. I then removed the fitting that was at the end of the hose and slid off the collar. Next, I slid the collar onto the new hose and inserted the fitting into the end of the hose. The fitting has a bulge in it is held down by the collar and keeps the hose from flying off under pressure. The last step was to hand tighten the collar onto the pump base. The Topeak pump hose was attached to the pump at the pressure gauge. To remove it, I loosened the collar and pulled it off. There is no fitting in the hose because the bulge is part of the pressure gauge. I put the old collar on the new hose and then pushed the hose onto the pressure gauge. The last step was then to hand tighten the collar onto the pressure gauge. The new hose and head kits works great. The gray side is for presta valves and the black side is for schrader valves. To clamp the lever onto your tube move the lever away from the side you are using. When you have reached your desired air pressure, move the lever to the center position. I was impressed by how smoothly this head works. My old heads lost a lot of air in the process of removing the head from the valve. With this pump head, you just have a tiny puff of air that escapes. I wish I would have found this product years ago.
