Actually really enjoyed using this hammock in the woods last week! Really easy to tear down and set up and is hugeeeee! If you need a double wide hammock this will definitely work for you.

I have a hammock problem. Over the past 10 years I seem to buy at least one hammock a year, sometimes 3. Of all the hammocks I purchased, this is definitely my favorite. Here are the best features. The hammock straps that come with this are longer than most hammocks.Their carabiners are smooth. Some cheaper carabiners are very sharp. The ability to use it with or without the bug netting is awesome. The fiberglass poles that hold the bug netting up are awesome. No more messing with a rope that I have to tie up higher than the hammock and finding sticks to hold the ropes apart. This size of the hammock is amazing. When you're inside it it feels cavernous.I could definitely see myself taking this backpacking and leaving the tent at home. For car camping, my wife loves the fact that she can comfortably read a book with the bug netting in place. Really this thing is huge but packs down small.I will be buying more for my wife and kids.

I got the 2 person to have more room for the kids since they always want to get in a hammock with me. It's huge! Me and my 7 year old and 3 year old all fit comfortably in there and the structure from the net on top keeps it open so you don't feel like its cocooning you like some hammocks. It was super easy to setup, just two tent style poles for the net top then you hang it up. I love the it comes with the tree straps so you have everything you need for setup anywhere. The light clips inside and white zipper pulls on the inside are nice extras, it's a well thought out hammock. The only thing I would add would be a zipper on the opposite side so if there's two people in it, the person on the inside could get out without climbing over the other person. I can't wait to use this all summer!

Let me start by saying I am a noob so if the hammock looks setup wrong that's on me. My biggest complaint with hammock camping is the bugs but with this hammock that's not an issue the bug net covering is incredible it uses polls like a tent to maximize the space inside making it an extremely comfortable experience. Setup was incredibly easy and the storage bag includes setup instructions on the tag inside so even a beginner like me can figure it out. Setup took maybe a few minutes and it does include tree straps if your using it in the wild. When tearing it down and packing it up it went back into the bag with no issue didn't need to fold a certain way or fight to put it back it was the easiest packing I've ever experienced much better than the tents I've packed up. Overall can highly recommend it was comfortable fit 2 people well and was easy for even the biggest amateur hammocker.

So as you can see by the picture, I have quite a few SunYear hammocks. The old ones are much better. I’ve had three of their older ones for about 4 years and I use them often. The stitching is better on the older one and it doesn’t require a separate bag to put the hammock in, as it’s attached to the hammock and packs into itself, which is very convenient.I think the new bars for holding up the mosquito net is a good idea, but I think it can be improved because the net droops down. It won’t rest on top of you, but it definitely makes you feel a bit more boxed in than the older model. Maybe a bar across the middle would eliminate the drooping situation. At the moment I prefer the old style where you tie the mosquito net to the tree and are able to adjust its height. Never have any issues with a droopy net on those. If you can get this on sale for about $30, go for it. At the moment I trust the brand and their customer service, albeit foreign, is great. But for $50 I’d say shop around. And I haven’t checked, but if they’re still selling the older model, get that one because it’s fantastic.

This is my third hammock and the second from Sunyear. Sunyear has absolutely knocked it out of the park on this hammock. First off, I ordered the Double as that is what I've been accustomed to for getting the proper setup for a diagonal flat lay in the hammock. This double is MASSIVE. The BIGGEST hammock ever. I'm 6'3 and 240lbs and I'm nowhere close to filling this thing up!Build quality is excellent, as I've come to expect from Sunyear. The hammock material is light and breathable and was very comfortable to lay in. The mosquito netting has a very fine mesh and will keep all the bugs away. There is a full-length zipper that runs all the way down one side of the hammock which allows easy entry. The included tree straps are pretty standard with multiple "pockets" to all you to find the perfect length for your hammock hang. What really sets this hammock apart for me though are arched aluminum poles at the head and foot of the hammock. These create a HIGH arch that keeps the bug netting away from you and even enables you to sit up without touching.I figured out after a bit, that if you unzip the hammock the entire way, you can slide the netting up and over the arch to make getting in super easy. The inside of the hammock has one small phone pocket in the middle of the side opposite the zipper. There are also 2 small hooks near the arches that I could envision using to hang a small battery-powered lantern to string a ridge line between them. This hammock is larger than any other and comes rolled in a storage sack with aluminum poles as opposed to stuffed in a sack like other hammocks. Initially, I was concerned by the packed size, but after setting it up, I completely understood the packaging. This is very comparable to my 1 person backpacking tent. This will be my new go to hammock for every occasion.Order with confidence. You won't be disappointed, and I'm sure it will be your new favorite as well.I look forward to many relaxing days in the woods with this gem.
