As your Jeep's suspension system ages, the bushings and bump stops begin to deteriorate, sometimes completely. Bump stops replace the stock units inside the coil springs. They serve to limit axle travel and cushion bumps when the axle is fully compressed. Installed these a few weeks ago to replace my VERY aged bump stops. VERY durable, had a pro install because I do not have the tools/patience to do it myself! Love the added security feel and it does it's intended purpose! Highly recommend for your 04 Wrangler or compatible vehicle!
