1/8th in cable fits correctly in these. I crimped it with a hydraulic crimper and had no issues. The finish is good. It would be nice if it included 2 wrenches so you could tighten both ends at the same time. If you buy multiple packs it's no an issue but I found the included wrench more convenient to use than a pair of plyers or an adjustable wrench.

Stainless steel crimp anchors for cable wiring work well. I was able to crimp three times on the length that is crimpable for extra holding power. I think that these are not that elegant looking for a higher end deck rail, and they are difficult to get the cable consistently taut. In order to get the cable with the proper slack, you need to also rotate both sides measurably to prevent twist. On one hand it is great that the counter thread takes this into consideration, on the other hand, it is a limitation in the design vs an anchor with a threaded guide that slips and will not twist the cable. And you pretty much have to crimp the cable prior to anchoring in order to get it taut.

These are, of course, one of the essential components of a cable railing kit, but the parts get expensive quickly and I wish these weren't as pricey as they are. That said, these are the solution for mounting cable rails in 4x4 posts, as the common offerings are usually only for 2x2 posts. These are of fine quality.

These are excellent. They have a place to grip with the provided wrench to screw into the wood post. And the fit for a 1/8" stainless cable is good (just slightly loose, so a clean-cut cable end is easy to slip in without a tool). Perfect for swaging.I like the way each end screws in the opposite direction, so the cable doesn't twist after swaging when it is being tensioned.These have a clean look.And they provide a long area for swaging, even for larger swagers that won't grip right next to the post. This also means they can be crimped multiple times, if desired, although I've found that a single time holds, and 2 crimps give a backup grip. 1 or 2 swages looks better than 3, but this lag screw provides enough room for that, if desired.

These are great quality lag screws for use in cable railing. You get 40 left hand and 40 right handed screws. Using a right and left on each run means when you tighten each side a little, the cable does not twist in only one direction. The T316 stainless construction should help prevent rust and corrosion. You will need a crimping tool to secure these to your cable. I like that they include a drill bit for installation as well as an adjustment wrench for tightening. Pleased and would recommend.
