Impeller destroyed itself in the old pump. This was an easy replace. It fit the connector perfectly and was up and running.

I installed it in my Hessaire MC37M evaporative cooler.The downside is our water has excessive amounts of minerals.I try to fight it with water filters, but haven't been very successful so far.This means, you usually can use the pump only for one season.In all fairness, the water has nothing to do with the pump itself.The pump runs quite and has the specified water flow.It is a direct replacement for the Hessaire MC37M.

Works for about a year, then locks up. But the original only lasted a year. That might be the life expectancy for this product

Replaces original water pump; easy peasy to remove / replace. Factory unit lasted two seasons of light use: not stored with water in tank, drained after every use; the pump seems to be the weak element in these air coolers. I "splurged" and bought the 4 year replacement policy for $4 ; less than a cup of Starbucks....
