These were worn with off-road motorcycle boots and they did quite well. Normally, the stiff motocross boots get old after an hour or so, but not while wearing these. This winter, they will tested with ski boots where the fit is VERY critical. Note that these are not thick.

I wore these on one 15 mile hike and the seam at the toe unraveled and a hole was worn in the ankle. I’m a long time fan of Swiftwick but his is a poorly constructed design/product
