So far I've had to replace the hinges twice in as many years. DON'T get this toilet. After the hinges broke a second time, I bought a new toilet seat. However, because of the design of the toilet, with no access to the underside of the toilet seat hinge, other seats will not work with this toilet. You are stuck using Swiss Madison seat/hinges for this specific toilet and they are $22 a piece.After they failed the second time, they offered to send a free "pair." They sent a single hinge which means I still have a toilet without a seat. It went from a pretty toilet to a prison toilet. I highly recommend getting another one.

We made the grave mistake of installing it before even trying to sit on it. the sea itself is INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. cheap plastic but the worst part of it is the there is very little surface area to sit on. I dont know the correct way to describe it but the oval rim is very narrow and the hole is so big that our tushies just fall through and it hurts to sit on it. its a thin ring. my 7 year old just fell through and hit the water with her bottom. I am an adult and I have to use strength to balance myself because even I will fall through.I contacted the company and they have to other seat replacement alternative.I cannot even return it because I had it installed already. Now I have to warn and apologize to all the guests that come to our house that needs to use it because it is the first floor bathroom. I am so upset.

It's a little larger than a normal toilet so be careful to measure the waterline. However it wasn't so difficult to install, Another great Swiss Madison product.

Toilet is wide on the back so it doesn’t work with a standard plumbing water line. Plan to have to move the line to get the clearance
