Took off the old and actually bought a installer which I have never used one until now. Must say it made life a little easier. Everything went together nicely and steering is back to smooth and tight. Might need some tightening once I get it on the road and do some turns and loops that I do to test steering. Just added grease to the race and bearings.

This is the best threaded headset that I have come across in a while. Quality and machining is top notch over other competing products.Works great on a 90's mountain bike.I needed a couple of additional washers between the adjusting nut and lock nut to take up the space on one particular fork.

It's a headset, not sealed bearings but at this price it's very nice. Appearance is very similar to a brand that rhymes with Ring.

Bought from Xtreme Bike & Sports.Awesome quality, great machining. I got the black one and it is a very good headset, it has two rubber seals on the locknut to prevent water and dust from entering the bearings, also two hard plastic seals that seat inside the cups for the same purpose. I highly recommend this headset.

Good replacement, but still a little wobble www tightened, think it could have larger overlap on top of tube flange to make it better.

I've installed this same headset on each of my last three re-builds. The bearings don't wear down and turning is smooth, like Butter. Whether you get this in chromed or black, they look great and work with precision.
