The water flow sensor broke and they got it replaced and was very professional. Highly recommend them!

We got the lowest voltage unit but it still needs a 30-amp GFI breaker. So we got an electrican to do the electric upgrade and we did the water lines ourselves. The electric upgrade was $285.00 for labor and $100.00 for a 30-amp GFI breaker from Amazon. So all in was $500.00 and at this time, 30 days into this, the system has only been installed 36 hours and the water temperature is only luke warm, Wintemp won't answer anything but an email (Back to the drawing board..).Just discovered that the new plug that was installed for the 30 amp GFI outlet needed adjusting. The prongs on the plug were misaligned and not fitting together within the outlet. Simple fix so far. Our heaters working perfectly..!! Waited for the water to heat and because of our michigan cold weather this heater won't heat our water above Luke warm and the next model up requires a $7 to $800.00 upgrade to our electric panel so it's alot more to this system than buying it and plugging it in.2/28/2025 update.I just received an email from Wintemp for the second time. The first time was for a free upgrade to a unit that would handle our cold Michigan water and the second is for a full refund. Great customer service from Wintemp..!!

If you are looking for a tankless unit for boosting hot water this is not for you. For all the wiring upgrades you have to supply for this unit you will have more money in supplies than this cost and it will not heat like they say it will. If you want hot water at a sink or washer use a 10 gal tank unit and save yourself the headache of installing this unit.

This tankless water heater is fairly easy to install except for the #10 wiring, 30-amp breaker if you don't have it where you are planning to install this water heater. Other than that, it is a very good tankless water heater addition for your bathroom or outbuilding. I am pleased with it.

You must use 10-2 wire for connection & a 30 amp breaker. If you don't you will constantly trip the breaker. Do it right the first time. We are new construction so easy. This thing work great. Turn it on low pressure @ first do you can get the water hot. I have min set @ the ideal temp & it is scorching hot. If it gets too hot I just use my faucet mixer like any other time you are mixing cold to hot. I like it because it doesn't use a lot of space & works perfectly. I had a Bosch which took the entire half under the sink up in my last house. We had another that we returned it was junk. Love this model.

This unit heated water at the rate of ongoing gallon in 3 minutes 25 seconds to a temp of 100 degrees. This is a pencil lead sized stream. Not even enough to wash your hands. On the up side it was easy to install. Now I will reverse that and put back my 2 gallon electric tank water heater. I'm very disappointed with this unit.

I purchased 5 of these (3.5kw KFU models) and had them installed by a professional plumber. The amount of heat they produced was not enough for my professional hair salons, especially in New England winter. Given that more than a year had passed I thought I was doomed. But thank God, the people at Wintemp are dogged about backing up their brand. They contacted me directly and offered 50% cash refund and to replace them with heavy-duty 240 V units. And they didn’t even require me to return the original ones. Mistakes are part of business and the best business people recognize that even if the customer can be partly to blame. Thank you Wintemp.

Wife: “I have not had hot water from the tap this fast! Our tankless water heater works great, but it is pretty far from the kitchen meaning lots of lost water before it gets hot. Now, it takes about two seconds! I love it!”Husband: I installed this heater after having gone through 2 or 3 pumps that would recycle the hot water at the installation point (Ch……r) that cost about $500. They work until the pump bearing goes which requires a new pump, and they are noisy to boot. This heater is quiet, easy to connect, and will make good use of our solar power. As you can see, my wife loves it and I have already connected the 120 v unit for our master bath sinks. One more to go for the garage/work shop. The best part is that all units are connected to the hot water house connection drawing water from the tankless. As the water warms less heating is necessary until none is required when the draw water is at 120 degrees. This unit worked from the first use with no hiccups. I have talked to customer service and they are very responsive!
