I installed this on my back deck's outlet which is exposed to rain. My home is 26 years old and the outdoor outlet was no longer code. This cover works great. It was a little tricky to break the customizable plastic tabs without scoring first.

As others have stated here, the thing is plastic and not engineered well. Looks neat but the expandable cover wont stay not expanded. Brand new out of the package and its junk. I already installed and it will be in a place i wont probably use ever so keeping it for the hassle of the installation. I would choose something else next time for sure. Hubbell is usually quality, this shows what happens when they buy another company and do not implement good quality control.
