What a fantastic design! You don’t even need a screwdriver to “install” it – just a switch plate that has two screws in it for the magnets to stick to! It now would be pretty much impossible for me to accidently touch the light switch that works my motion sensor light and mess up its settings! BRAVO to whoever designed this little device!

I used this product to cover my light switches for the Sabbath. It’s really convenient to be able to put it on and take it off so easily. I like that it stays on and doesn’t fall off or loosen. I didn’t want something that had to be screwed on, it would just be too hectic so glad I found something like this

I have an Alexa echo dot in almost every room so that Alexa can control the lights. So I needed to cover the light switches in all the rooms. The magnets make it easy to put in place and the design looks beautiful. Love them...

Insert obligatory "not Jewish, but" preamble here... I teach a preschool Sunday school class at my church, and I have a kiddo who loves to turn my lights on and off. I was struggling to come up with ideas on how to get him to stop until I stumbled on an Orthodox Jewish TikToker preparing for Shabbos. I figured if it would help her not to use the switch during Shabbos, it would keep my students away from the light switch. It works like a charm!! The magnets are strong enough that the kids can't mess with the cover, but not so strong that I can't remove it when I do want to turn the lights off and on. This product has saved me from nagging them about playing with the lights! Now if only there was something that got them to use their "walking feet"...

Magnets:Great, simple product.The magnets are a great solution. They're strong enough to stay in place on the faceplate. It prevents accidental movement of switch, and still allows easy access if you need to flip the switch on/off.It's your own fault:I'll say it so the manufacturer doesn't have to...If you rate this product low for lack of child-proofing, it's your own fault. Read the description! it uses magnets, it's obviously not child-proof. Use your thinking skills.Price:I wished it was a dollar or two less, but whatever. I only needed one, I'm not going to waste energy trying save $1.

First of all, the magnetic installation is a brilliant design. It was amazingly easy to install and I was actually really impressed at how perfectly aligned the magnets were. For such a "cheap" product, I had expected them to be at least slightly closer together or farther apart than the switch plate screws. When I started to apply the cover, it practically snapped into place on its own upon getting within a half or quarter of an inch away from the plate. The magnets are the perfect strength for the job--weak enough that it takes no effort to remove when you are ready to remove it, but strong enough that accidentally swiping your hand over the switch out of habit does not cause it to fall off, and strong enough that it takes no effort to apply.My fiancé recently installed a lot of Phillips Hue smart bulbs in the house and it's been fun and convenient to be able to automate our lights and control them with voice commands--the only problem is the light switch must remain on at all times and turning the switch off also resets our saved brightness defaults. We both kept accidentally flipping switches to lights on the home network, and I came across these nifty covers and ordered a couple. They don't look out of place over the existing plates and they were very effective at preventing us from accidentally flipping the switches we wanted left on. I'll definitely be ordering more since we just moved to a new place and my fiancé keeps accidentally flipping the garbage disposal switch that is next to one of the kitchen light switches. These are really handy!

I use this for covering a light switch that I want to keep on all year round. I do not celebrate Shabas nor am I Jewish, but I find that this concept is amazing!! So much better than putting tape over the light... It works great, there is magnet that sticks to the screws on a light switch... The complaint I have is that I wish the design was not triangular edges but rather very clean and simple... if it had a simpler design I think their sales would be tremendous... PS if youre the owner reading this, you should go on the TV show shark tank!!! Just change the design a little and make it more square :)

What a clever little device! It is simple, but it does exactly what it was designed to do: It protects an electrical switch from accidently being flipped. If you have a problem switch like I did that can accidently be changed, this cover can immediately solve your problem. Simply open the package, and pop it on the light switch. The cap has two strong magnets that strongly hold the cap in place, yet the cap can easily be removed if you want to change the position of the switch. Unfortunately, the cap only comes in white, but the shade difference is not very noticeable on my almond cover. The cap is actually about 4.5 inches long, so it covers most of the switch cover and gives the overall switch a Victorian look. This is a great buy for the price because it is well made and instantly solves the problem for which it was designed.
