I play 3-4 days every week. Have been able to maintain good pressure using this. Balls can be pressured so the bounce in higher than new balls fresh out of a can. This is useful when playing temperature is less than 40 degrees.

Ball Rescuer at 32lb PSI kept my US Open and Dunlop tennis balls bouncing like new until I could no longer read the print on the ball. I play 3-4 times a week and kept balls like new for over 2 months. Ball Rescuer really works! Love this product … and with an electronic battery powered pump it is so easy to use. Customer Service was so good too, they promptly sent me a lost O-ring no charge when I accidentally lost it. Many Kudos to Ball Rescuer USA.

Item came in as described. Instructions were clearly provided and easy to understand. Used an old tube of Head Tribute balls and the screen base fitted exactly as per the instructions with a small gap. Screwed in the top valve and pumped air to 30 psi. I checked if there were leakages hearing for air leak sound. But, all worked well and there was no leakage. Helped to pressurize the balls after many uses. Very happy with the purchase.Important things to note:--> Definitely need a ball tube as mentioned in the manual--> Need to screw the top and base tightly so that there is no leakage--> Try to look for leakage before storing the can

I was not very convinced at first. I have heard that when you take them out with the pressure at its peak, they start off super-fast and then bounce really badly. But I decided to give it a shot, and I have seen an enormous change, it works really well. I was using some Penn balls that have already been through 6 matches and they’re still in great shape. They keep their pressure the whole time, though it obviously drops a bit. As long as the ball’s hair lasts...

Overall, I’m happy with it and it does work much better than the Gexco and Tourna twist style ball savers. Using a bike pump gives you a lot of control over the amount of pressure.Couple of tips:1. It is VERY finicky about the can because it relies on having a regular Penn Championship can with a perfect metal rim. You may need to try many cans before you find one that holds pressure. Dents and cans that are out of round will cause leaks.2. You can use this to repressurize completely dead balls but if you use too much pressure and the ball collapses it will never gain pressure. You have to take your time and pressurize until just before it collapses and leave it there for a week. Then add a little pressure and leave it there for a week etc.

I tried this product with balls of multiple brands and it did not work with any of the brands. I don't recommended at all, total waste of money. Idea is great, but is just an idea that doesn't work

This product is excellent for maintaining the pressure of new balls. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. However, it does not add pressure back into already-flat balls. I assumed it would, but it doesn't, and can't. The reason is that when you put a flat ball in, and pressurize the can, the flat ball will squish--actually dent--until the pressure inside the ball is the same as the pressure in the can. If the ball were rigid, then air would go into the ball, but the ball of course isn't rigid so higher pressure air outside the ball just squishes it. Oh well. It's still quite useful to have it maintain the pressure of the balls.Note that you need a Penn or Dunlop ball can. Wilson and Babolat ball cans don't fit.

It is not a ball rescuer, the product name is misleading. You can not recover balls with low pressure. The only thing that does is delay the natural depressurization of the balls. But after all, your balls will end up with low pressure and with this you cannot raise the pressure. It does not work as a ball rescuer. On the other hand, they gave me an already used product.

4/23/2024 My unit leaks, after some experimentation think I have found a solution. You need to fill in the space where the unit joins the threads. I used a silicone to fill the joint. Keep in mind that just gluing the joins together may not or may not work. In my case I put the unit together and tighten it. There was still some space between the joints. I filled in that space with silicone. Make sure it is well lubricated so that you don't glue the cover portion to the bottom section. the lower rating is because I have not found that it repressurizes the balls, but it does keep the ball pressure up so you an use them longer.5/2/2023 I have tried the recommended Penn and Dunlop plastic cans and even Gamma, they are too large for the Ball Rescuer. 5/4 Update, opened up another Penn Championship can just to test again. This time the can fit. Will see how it performs.

Thank you for the detailed instructions for the Ball Rescuer which I received via email ahead of the item arriving. The instructions are very clear, full of helpful details and the Ball Rescuer is easy to use. It is such a good product that I have already ordered a second unit since I use two cans of balls each time I play. A product this good deserves every success!I have used the Ball Rescuer with both “Head Championship” and “Head Radical” 4 tennis ball plastic cans. The Head Radical can is identical to the Head Championship can, so it is no surprise that it works on both cans equally well. The seals and valves are airtight and it attains 35psi with just a few easy compressions of the included compact bicycle pump. I have not seen any noticeable air loss from the pressure indicator or using my own tyre pressure gauge to check after two weeks. For advanced players who wear out the felt on the balls after just one session and routinely need one or more new cans per session, this item is obviously not needed. But for recreational players who hit once or twice per week, the balls have plenty of life for several sessions of play. The Ball Rescuer will maintain the correct ball pressure across many rounds of play. The key element to all this is ensuring that one uses a plastic ball can from the fairly long list of compatible ones given in the instructions. The plastic can is reusable, so a one-time purchase of a compatible can will last for months (up to a year according to the instructions). One is obviously free to store any preferred brand of tennis ball in the pressurised container. The additional advantage of the Ball Rescuer device is that it allows for storage of 4 balls per container. Other systems hold just the traditional 3 balls, and most will not get anywhere near the optimal 35psi. In short, an excellent device that lives up to the manufacturer’s claims. If you have any queries, the seller provides prompt advice to ensure a smooth experience.
