It's definitely very well put together, some of other models were cheaper but after some searching I just couldn't pass on this model.It has plenty of settings and it's portable, I use it all the time after replacement knee surgery I really can tell the next day there has been improvement.I would recommend giving it a try,for the cost it's a very nice unit comes with 5 patches that are reusable.It is also very easy to use.It would be a great gift for someone.

Both my physical therapist and my chiropractor have used a TENS unit on me, so it made sense to finally skip the appointments and just buy my own. It is a powerful little gadget, and it works well. I do have a bit of trouble with operating it though. It appears that you have to set time, mode and intensity, in that order. If I mess up, the whole unit has to be turned off, and you start over from scratch. At least that’s the only way I have found to get it to work. Once it’s all set up, the effect is great. It comes with plenty of pads, and they’re very adhesive. Well worth the price!

I was so excited to get this machine after reading the reviews. I read the instructions and was pleasantly surprised by the power of the machine - although I could find no instructions on what the different programs were and what where there benefits...ok, I can figure that out. You also can't change from EMS to MASS to TENS once you select that option without turning it off and starting over - eh, not designed very well, but could live with that. I moved the pads to a different part of my body - and they wouldn't stay in place? Hmmm...maybe I had body oil on that affected them. I clean them with water on a washcloth...slightly better, but still not near what other Tens devices had for staying power. Maybe I got bad ones ? I open the second set provided and tried those. SAME ISSUE! Sadly these are going back, which is unfortunate as it seems to be a strong machine otherwise and I was so hopeful.

The rechargeable unit is a good alternative to battery replacements. Intensity can be adjusted from a vibration to strong muscle contraction. Placement of pads will alter what muscle groups will be activated, so experimentation will be necessary. Would be nice if it came with a case for travel to keep all the parts together. I'm just using a zip lock bag as an alternative. So far, so good with this unit. I'm waiting to see if this technology works to lessen muscle pain and tone muscles as advertised.
