Don’t let the light and pliable material fool you. This held up with flying colors under a two-person tent. I used it on an uneven dirt surface with some rocks, at a campsite near the south rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Colorado. It got wet and muddy during a rain storm, but dried quickly and was easy to wipe clean with a paper towel when I packed up on Friday.

I am not sure how long it will last, but for the price you get a very light weight tarp of decent size. I have found it very useful for more than just a footprint, and I use it as just a general all purpose tarp that is very light and packable.
