Had to egg shape the holes from the factory, also had to trim a section in order for it to bolt flat to my stock 2004 LJ

This is really a heavy duty great plate. I installed this on my 2005 JEEP Wrangler TJ X with no issues. I do not have a factory bumper its a Rough Country after market, but the bolt pattern should be the same on all bumpers.Everything lined up as it was supposed to. The one hole you have to drill is super easy and into the bottom of the round factory frame bar. Instructions are straight forward and tell you what size drill bit to use etc.Hopefully I never need this but if I do, i'll update my review with how it does. Some serious steel though so should do a good job.Pictures show the hole you have to drill and the bolt that comes with the kit.

its good strong and beefy, but there might be a problem with their jig or the part that forms/bends the side piece. it was noticbly cocked out to the side and it would not align the side hole and the frame peg until i put it in a vice and beat it with a 3lb sledge for a few minutes, then it lined up perfect!

Good quality piece. I've banged my steering box a couple of times on rocks so I figured it was time to buy a skid for it.

Very heavy duty.NO "product ajustment" needed.Drilled 5/16 hole as per instructions bolted in place.About 5 minutes to install.2000 tj with Durango big piston box.
