Step 1:
Place soil disk in planter of choice.
Step 2:
Place 1/3 cup of water over soil. Wait 7-10 minutes for soil to fully expand. Squeeze to drain excess water.
Step 3:
Set seeds on surface and cover with loose soil.
Step 4:
Once you see roots extending from the soil, transfer your plant.

Pretty amazing. Just add some water and lke magic, the soil expands and fills the platter. WIthin a week, following seeding, Charlie is eating fresh grass!

We were in the outlying zone of a California wildfire. Our cat and turtle both have "bug-out kits," bins with their essentials. His contains 6 of these discs, along with box-turtle kibble. I loaded both kits in the car (along with essential things for our family, obviously) and watched the news. When we got the alert we were now in the evacuation warning zone, I put the turtle into a little "escape pod" box, got the cat into her carrier, and carried them together to the car. His pod went into the larger bin and kept him safe until we arrived at a hotel, where I moistened the discs. He burrowed in, and lived pretty happily in there for almost a week. On return, I added the soil to his permanent habitat, cleaned the bin and escape-pod, taped over the airholes and put in new dry soil discs and dry kibble. His kit can now sit ready and clean in the closet until the next fire emergency.

I have 2 cats and they like the grass, need to make one for each cat, they really like the grass, and the pods make it so easy to grow.

These are so convenient! Just drop one in water and wait for it to expand into enough potting soil for a 4-6 inch pot. I primarily use these to make wheat grass for my cats. I like that they are organic, easy to use, don't leave a mess to clean up, grows healthy plants. The downside is that they're expensive - you pay for the convenience.

I bought these to grow grass indoors for my kitty and chihuahua. Took 4 soil tablets to fill one pot. Easy to follow directions leave no room for mishaps. Would buy again. I even planted some succulents and spider plants into another pot with 2 more tabs. Which they love.

My cat goes berserk for kitty grass so I buy these pods frequently in order to keep up with her demanding appetite for her greens. So easy to use. Always provides an abundant, healthy container of kitty grass.
