About this item

  • MILK OOLONG: A Cup of Abundance – Famous for its “milky” taste and silky texture, the large, tightly-rolled leaves have the alluring fragrance of sweet cream and pineapple. The flavor is smooth with light, orchid notes. Oolong tea gets its alluring character through a meticulous process in which the leaves are shaken until the perfect oxidation level has been reached, as judged only by sight, aroma and touch.
  • OOLONG TEA: With origins in Taiwan and southeast China, the best oolong tea is produced when tea leaves are oxidized in direct sunlight until they give off a precise and pleasant fragrance — somewhere between apples, orchids and peaches. This delightful, hand-processed, green oolong is grown in the Fujian Province in China.
  • STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS: Fill your kettle with fresh, filtered water and heat to just short of boiling. Place one teaspoon of leaves per 6 oz water into your pot or infusing basket. Pour the heated water over tea leaves and infuse for 5–7 minutes. Experiment to find your favored steeping time. Remove tea leaves and enjoy, Sip by Sip. Great for multiple infusions! For iced tea, double the amount of tea leaves used and pour over a generous amount of ice.
  • INGREDIENTS: Oolong tea and natural flavors
  • BENEFITS: Because white, green, oolong and black teas are all derived from the Camellia sinensis bush, it is true that they share many of the same benefits and properties. Oolong teas contain all of the same polyphenol antioxidants as other teas, including catechins, thearubigin and theaflavin. For many tea drinkers, oolong tea strikes the perfect balance between “too much” and “not enough” caffeine, allowing them to enjoy the mental alertness and clean burst of energy, without jitters or sensitivity.

This is my favorite tea and I used to buy the smaller tea bag version in stores. I love that they have the loose leaf version in bulk so i could adjust the strength. It's soothing, milky, and light - I could easily drink 3-4 cups of this a day!

Exactly what I expected. If you've never tried it I highly recommend it. I love green tea and this one is so buttery and soft tasting.

Half the pleasure of milk oolong is the wonderful aroma. I rate this one just so-so. Flavor is pretty good but not outstanding.

As soon as you open the bag you get a very strong, sweet aroma that is not natural for tea leaves. So I immediately looked into the ingredients. It just says "finest oolong tea leaves". I have had various types of teas in Taiwan, but never had something like this.It smells good, taste is fine, but I am now convinced that there are added ingredients and I feel uncomfortable about drinking it without knowing what they are.

I just love this tea! It really smells so wonderful. The tea leaves are also beautiful - they are so long! I keep pouring more and more hot water over the leaves until I'v used them up completely.

It's not bad.... but not good either. It's a fine oolong in itself, but just does not have the rich creamy mouth feel that I'm used to with a milk oolong. I can get 3 or 4 steeps before the flavor gets too weak. As an oolong it's good tea as a milk oolong there are better options out there.
