These are a great option for the price!! Made it through many shows comfortably and they allowed for good arch support and ankle mobility which is crucial for foot health when dancing on unforgiving stage floors.

DO NOT BUY. I've purchashed thousands of items on Amazon and rarely post reviews, however, I feel compelled to warn potential buyers. I bought these knowing my daughter needed to bedazzle them for her costume, and I didn't want her to ruin her $110 ones. She hasn't even worn them a week and they are already falling apart. Please just pay the extra money and get quality ones if you are actually planning on performing with them. We were looking for the cheapest ones knowing she was going to be hot gluing jewels to them, but I was still surprised at how used they are after only one week of rehersals.

I was REALLY hesitant to order these character shoes- but SO glad I did. I wasn't expecting a lot- but these surpasses my expectations. The fit is great. Put them on to break them in for a stage production in a few weeks. Won’t need much break in time. The strap is thin, but not flimsy. These are not flex sole, but do not dig into the feet. My street shoe size is inbetween an 8.5 and 9. I ordered an 8.5 in these- and they fit GREAT. I know the description says order a half size down. But I also know that sometimes I’m a 9, sometimes not. So- take that with a grain. Love these for the price.

The shoes were surprisingly comfortable fit wise and easy to dance in. The only problem was the bottoms weren't cushioned enough for dancing or long wear time. I definitely recommend getting insoles that help with the pain from lack of support. Also, the clasps on the straps broke easily. Luckily, it was the last show so I made it work, but the clasps are very cheap. After a few weeks of breaking in and rehearsing, the clasps just couldn't handle the strain of movement. The upside from that is the shoe fits well enough that it won't really fly off of your foot mid-dance when the clasp does break. They're definitely okay quality for the price. But if you're looking for a long lasting shoe, I'd go for higher quality. These are good to supplement until you can buy better ones. But definitely not long lasting.

So, I teach. I needed era-looking shoes for a 50's dress- these fit the bill. I ordered a size too small the first time. So, I gave them to one of my theater students. I ordered up a half-size from my regular dress-shoe size. I cheated and put my tennis-shoe insoles in them. Wow! Super-comfy...all day. I NEVER wear heals (of ANY kind... I'm a Chaco/Brooks lovin' gal) These are my go-to dress shoe now. Super-secure on my feet ALL day, cute AND well-made. There are NO weird seams- if I would have stretched the toes a bit I would not have had ANY blisters. Literally, I wore these OUT-of-the-box. Amazing! Great shoe!

I was really skeptical due to reviews. I wear an 8.5 in heels and have a wide foot. I normally wear a 9 in tennis shoes for extra toe room. I ordered these three days before my event - thanks amazon prime! I don’t care to wear high heels much as they hurt my feet. Usually an hour is about my max limit in heels before I begin getting achey. Tonight I wore these for 5 hours straight without issue. The heel is just high enough to be attractive without being uncomfortable. The heel is also thick and sturdy - not flimsy and pencil thin. They are synthetic material but for $25 I feel the price was fantastic for the pair of shoes I recieved. The buckles were sturdy and I had no issues with the hardware. No scuffs either and I’m rather careless with my feet and notoriously clumsy. Again, I have wider than average feet and had plenty of room. My foot was not squished and as I write this, the balls of my feet are not aching which is a welcomed relief for me. I know that these are technically “stage” shoes for theatrics but they don’t look cheesy at all. I will wear these with my other little black dresses now that I know they are so comfortable and I can go hours wearing them. They may be a bit dated in style but everyone is wearing vintage items and styles anyhow so who is to know that I bought them for a 1920’s party?! I’m about to go look at other shoe styles this company offers too! Thanks so much!

A beautiful fit and wonderful shoes for the most part, considering the price. I ordered these for use in a theatre movement class for our unit on restoration style movement, so I can't vouch for how they would hold up under worse wear. The shoes were comfortable to wear, and put minimal pressure on the back of my feet (no blisters!), and the T straps didn't press into my feet either. The only complaints I had were that the black of the shoes scraped off after one accidental scratch by the other shoe, leaving an ugly mark (so beware if you're clumsy!) and that it's sometimes a little difficult to get the shoes on, especially quickly. Take your time and have patience and care with these, and there should be no issue.

I was looking for 1920s-style shoes and liked the look of these. I typically wear a ladies shoe size 9.5W or 10M and I think my feet are kinda wide. Due to a talus bone fracture, it’s difficult for me to wear high heels and my right foot swells since I’ve got a couple metal rods in there. I purchased these shoes in size 9.5 since the guide recommended that and they are slightly large lengthwise for my feet although the width is very comfies for me. I had no issues walking around inside but haven’t tested them against the elements. After having read reviews and choosing these shoes, I’m very pleased with my purchase and I’ll definitely be using these for my getup! :)
