Great concept but it stays on sometimes and won’t shut off. Very visible at night so that part is a plus

Cheaper than buying batteries. Not as bright but they do work. Fish of dock for walleye. Purchase another one

I have been buying about a half dozen of these bobbers every year and mark them with the year. The ones I purchased last year in 2023 started off working fine. When they were pulled from the water the light would dim but not shut off. I repeatedly attempted to dry them and that had no effect. This wasn’t just one bobber, it was all of them from this purchase. Of course with the light staying on, the battery was dead in a week. Comparatively I had bobbers from two and three years earlier that still had some battery life. I wondered if the manufacturing process changed. Shortly after experiencing this issue I submitted a detailed and accurate summary of this problem with a couple photos directly on Acme’s web page. It’s disappointing to share that they never acknowledged my submission or provided a response. Prior to this issue I would have rated these a 4 or 5, but due to this quality issue and lack of company response, they have only earned a 1. At $6.50 a bobber, I would look at other brands.

They are expensive..I us them alot..out of ten I bought 5 work the other 5 intermittent on and off or just plain doesn't work. It the best on the market for my slipbobber system..believe me if there was something out there better I would switch over.....9$apiece than you got to retire because it stops working..fir me one last 5hrs than starts getting dim ..iam 73 and that becomes a big problem.can't hardly see it.

I received the two floats in a 8" x 6" box without air bags or paper. The floats were out of the original packaging from bouncing aroun in the box. First night out on cast #3 one of the float filld up with water with no way to empty it . So the light was on until the battery was drained . I left it to dry on the fridge and the next morning I had to clean a big rust stain. No more light working . The second one will not lit up.

IT DOES WHAT IS SAYS IT DOES. I THOUGHT IT WAS BIGGER, MY FAULT. I FLOAT FISH SALT WATER FOR TROUT. I USE 1.25 OUNCE WEIGHT MOST OF THE TIME, THIS FLOAT WILL NOT STAY ON TOP OF THE WATER WITH THAT MUCH WEIGHT.

I love these little guys! No muss, no fuss, and I can fish at night without fooling around with little fluorescent break-tubes and battery lights that have gone dead! When it fails to light up, just replace it with a new one! You can still use the dead ones during the day without any problems.Note: I have yet to have one of these not light up, and I’ve been using them for years! If you get a bad one, get your refund from Amazon! Trust me, Thill don’t make junk! But not all delivery people know their @$$ from a knothole! Don’t blame Thill for bad shipping!

Some don't like these but My wife and I really like them, we haven't had them fail, they work like a charm, they are bright, they will work for 2" shiner to 5" shiner" the 5" wild caught can pull it under but very short period, I have had gators bite them they have survived, my wife got broke off bobber and all gone, later that night went to look and there it was in the middle of the bay, I jumped in the canoe went over to it grabbed it yanked expecting the fish to be there but it wasn't hook and all still attached, then I saw it 3 holes Gator grabbed it fish fought got off and Gator spit bobber out, bobber still worked but filled with water and started to sink still worked though lol, tried to take it apart to fix and boy they are built to last.
