The product description says these are made of fluorocarbon, but doesn't go into detail about what it is. But when we got the item, there was a terrifying warning about cancer and reproductive harm (see the photo) with a link to a website that, frankly, scared the hell out of us! Why wouldn't the product description include this information? I know why: because if it did, no one would buy this product. And this is supposed to be used in fishing, so it's supposed to come in direct contact with fish we would then proceed to eat, ingesting whatever poisons the fish had swallowed. This kind of poisonous stuff shouldn't be allowed on this website.

This flash line adds sparkle to flies and lures. The color selection is strong. I haven't gotten out to test it's durability yet so I'm not sure how well it will hold up.

Up until recently I've only tied up dry fly patterns, but recently I've been trying new patterns including nymph, buggers, deer hair, etc. and a lot of them call for chenille, regular and crystal, so I got this set and just tied up a crystal bugger and it turned out great. This set comes with 15 different colors so there is enough variety here for almost any color pattern you want and I like that it comes on a spool so it can be used on a bobbin vs the chenille that comes on cards. I've only used the brown so far but I'm going to try some other color variations later and I'm sure they will be great.
