These tire chain tensioners do their job. I use the. On my compact tractor, and am pleased with how they perform. The only negative comment I can add is that the rubber dries out and cracks after a season or two...but they are left on my tractor from the beginning of winter until spring, exposed to the elements all winter.

I used these on the chains on the front tires of my John Deere 950 tractor. They worked well - they did what they were supposed to do (keep the tension on the chains), they didn't break after one winter season, and they were easy to put on and take off.

Worked as expected. Kept the tire chains tight while driving. Only issue was when storing them some of the s-links tend to fall off as they are not crimped on the rubber so you have to keep them in a storage bag. I'd buy again.
