Haven't had a chance to use them yet, but they seem like good quality. Good construction, seems like they'll take quite a beating.

There are three things I consider when it comes to tire chains: 1.) Can they be put on easily in a bad situation, 2.) Do they effectively dig you out when stuck, and 3.) Are they easy to take back off again. My van was stuck down an icy driveway and my bucket of sand wasn't cutting it, so I got my opportunity to test these chains.The installation for each chain segment went very easy. Simply following the instructions and using the hook to fish the webbing through the wheel worked very well. The tension crank tightened well and held everything in place. I did have to roll the tire a bit to expose the part of the wheel that was initially on the ground, and by that point I wasn't even sure I was going to need all three for full coverage. So, check consideration #1.The question of effectiveness was answered as the tire bit into the ice and gave me the traction I needed to slowly get back to level ground. I kept the chains on until I made it back to the road and I was gratified and relieved. The chains work well for getting out of a situation a tow truck would have a tough time pulling me out of. Consideration #2 is a check.When I went to take the chains back off, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to release the tension with the included wrench tool. I ended up barking my knuckles on the first release and got a bit of a cut, but that's my fault for not catching on right away. If I had practiced putting these chains on and taking them off before I was using them for real, I wouldn't have had the problem. Once I got the idea, everything came off just fine and I stuffed it all back in the bag and was on my way again. That's #3 taken care of.It's a bit too bad that the set only comes with enough chains to give one tire full coverage. Know which wheel is the power drive and just one set should be okay in most situations, but it wouldn't hurt to have another set if the possibility of getting stuck is a regular thing. Getting stuck in Winter is the absolute worst, and waiting for someone to come and pull you out can ruin plans and schedules. This set of chains can help avoid such nightmares.

I'm often fishing and get to deep in the sand. Tie these chains to my tires and I'm unstuck in 10 minutes.

I was worried that these weren't going to work well since they're plastic. BUT, they went on super easy and appear like they're going to work amazing. The little metal teeth seem like they'll dig into some ice pretty well, atleast good enough for a little car. The only bad thing is that I got the 3 pack, not 6 pack. So now I'm gonna have to buy another set. But they pack up nice and small to fit in the emergency milkcrate I keep in the wife's truck

Very compact, easy to install, can be used for mud and snow, I am ready for the winter.

I like how everything is organized, how it has snow scraper, gloves, and chains, and the bag. I think I am prepared for the winter now
