This whistle can be very loud. I like that it has 3 pitches. That makes it hearable by a wider range of people. It feels like it's good quality. I expect it will work well in the water as I intend to bring this scuba diving. Although I hope to never need it. The size is also very good. It's compact so it doesn't take up much room. I can't tell if the ring is stainless steel. Obviously if this is going in the ocean, the ring needs to be stainless.

Built quality is not great. It feels like it's barely together. It does whistle but it's not particularly loud.

This thing is LOUD . Hubby tried it and almost made me deaf. This is a little whistle, which produces a loud sound . Definitely works

Very lightweight, but sturdy, thanks to the titanium used in this whistle. Definitely louder and lighter by size than my cheap, two-hole aluminum whistle. It looks great, too!

This is a really nice whistle. Light, compact, well constructed, and LOUD. I was surprised by how loud it was.

IUMIUN Titanium Emergency Survival WhistleThere are plastic pea-less whistles (forest creature 40 brand) that work just as well if not better than this. This is not even close to a value in my opinion for what you get. It is light weight, and thin if you wanted to keep it on a key chain, but it needs to turn 90 degs which makes it more of an obstacle in that scenario. Ear piercing volume - check. Cool looking with the mat finish - check. A clean finished look - nope, not everywhere on this one. To me it has too much of a spot welding appearance.Not throwing it away, but also not recommending it or getting any more.
