I’ve been trying to find something for several years to help hold my winter pool cover down on the deck side. These worked perfectly.

On a weeks long tent camping trip. Every night in a different location. When I found out some camp sites were on decks I needed to find out how to hold the tent down on the deck. All the booking agents had no clue how I might attach to a deck. Some web search led me to these. They are a great idea! I thought it would be stick it through a crack between boards, turn 90 degrees, and tie to it.However, for all four deck sites so far, these are simply too short to be able to turn at all. These might work on “two-by” inches lumber. All the decks I encountered were thicker; much thicker. I ended up using small x shaped tent pegs gently tapped into the cracks and having to tie para-cord to the ends of deck boards. Is my experience the norm or unusual? I can’t say. Other than the length they still seem like a great idea. The material strength seems sufficient. The spring material is a bit weak but the spring is only used to hold the device in place until a tie off is made. So the spring doesn’t need to be stronger.

I didn't look careful enough at the color. These work great and seem to hold very well. I am unhappy with the bright gold/orange color that stands out on my dark brown deck.

They are good for securing tarps that don’t get a lot of wind or tension as they are a lightweight material that didn’t hold up as well as expected.

these are EXCELLENT!! I use them to set up a tent shelter on our wood deck to keep the bugs away. Keeps the shelter tent in place and tightly secure.

Great idea and thought this would take care of the wind blowing our table and chairs around on the deck. But the space between composite boards was not wide enough. Wood deck boards have more space and would have worked as intended. Back to the drawing board.

My specific use of these is to anchor my outdoor yard shade clothes from the top of my deck to the fence (neighbors). Since it is my neighbor's fence, I don't want to affix anything permanent to it. Previously I had used large clamps. These anchors are great because I simply zip tie to them and the cleat goes in between the fence planks. The quality has been great - no breaks or bends. The price is great.

Likes:Easy to install on deck board.seems the quality is not that bad.Concerns:one of them got undone don't know how but found one of the anchors got loose. Might be user error or not. I am not sure.Kept or Returned?Kept and is pretty solid not perfect so 4- stars but still pretty good. Thanks for your time and I hope this review was helpful.
