Stop buying expensive spray cans of Pettit or Interlux antifoul paint that won't last one season. I applied this to my outdrives in the spring of 23, it's now mid summer of 24 and still holding up. I only had to do some touch up this past spring. They say one season but it looked like it would last longer so I thought I would give it a try. We boat on the Chesapeake. If the boat sits for a couple weeks (rare) the drives may develop some furry growth but washes away once we go for a ride. At the end of last season the worst growth was where the paint had worn away from debris or sand, no fault of the product. As with any paint project prep is very important. I remove my drives every other year for service and inspection so that makes it easier to prep. I won't uses anything else.

My boat is docked in very salty Barnegat Bay in N.J. After having growth issues with both Interlux and Pettit anti fouling paint. In the past few years I have experienced Major barnacle and brain coral type crustacean adhering on my Bravo 3 outdrives and props. I searched the internet and saw some great salt water reviews for TotalBoat AF and tried it this season. I am very pleased that after almost 4 months so far I have practically zero growth except on the skegs where some paint was worn off from sandbar groundings ! I already bought another quart for next season 👍🏻

Too soon to tell if it’s going to hold up and keep the outdrive clear of growth and slime for the whole season here in Penobscot Bay, but so far, so good. Went on easily. Covered well. Looks great. Hope it’s as good as advertised.

Used with hplv Harbor Freight sprayer for outdrive. Bravo 3. Went on nice and plenty left over after painting rear transom and trim tabs. Thinned with proper solvent to spray. Use ppe as this is not water soluable. Dried to a matte finish. Will see how it looks later in year.
