It arrived looking good. After 3 days, every single knot came undone and the whole net came apart. Impossible to repair. Spend a few extra dollars and choose something else

reduit le gaspillage, pas assez grand pour la journée d'un grand cheval. achetez en deux tout de suite pour jouer dans le foin moins souvent. Tres pratique pour les chevaux qui doivent avoir du foin mouillé.

So far I’d like to say that I’m pretty pleased with this product!Somehow within the first couple days of using it, the drawstring that holds the bag came out of the top of it. It wasn’t too big of a pain to re-thread it, but I don’t think it’s how it was when it came. It does take quite a bit of finesse to hold it open, then wedge the flakes down inside (much easier with two people) but I’ve gotten the hang of it now.. Overall it seems pretty tough, but we’ll see how it holds up over a couple months! We’ve rigged it up to our liking and the girls seem rather frustrated at the extra effort they have to put forth. lol 😅 That being said, I have seen and notable difference in the amount they consume. I believe this is going to help cut back on considerable amount of alfalfa waste! Thanks 😊—— UPDATE——So I’ve used this for several months now and I have now changed my review to one star with a major WARNING for all those thinking of purchase this item. The bag and the holes on the bag flex to accommodate hay, and subsequently shrink up when all the hay is consumed… But with that, this feeder then acts like a Chinese finger trap for your animals. I’ve had two different goats that have had severe situations that could’ve caused A major injury or even death. The first situation, one of my goats got their head stuck through a hole while eating, and trying to get out, wound it tighter and tighter until she was choked standing still. Fortunately it was low enough that her hooves were on the ground and she was able to stay still until I checked on them in the morning. If it had been over a longer period of time, she would’ve been dead. The second situation was another one of my goats getting her leg caught in it and twisting it up so tightly That all she could do was trash and lay under it in an awkward position until I again came to find her in the morning. I am still nursing her injured leg back to health.I have since removed this item and will not be using it anymore. I highly recommend extreme caution while using this feeder, or better yet, do not buy it at all. Find something that’s a higher quality. Some thing that takes far less effort to load, and isn’t a danger to your animals!BUYER BEWARE

I love these bags! My horses were throwing their feed around trying to find every morsel of alfalfa. They were wasting half their food and eating off the ground increasing their ingestion of dirt and sand. These bags have completely solved that problem. Now the horses stand calmly and eat their food without tossing it around. No waste. No dirt. Also, my pony was getting too hot and I wanted to transition her from straight alfalfa to 50/50 but knew she would toss her feed around looking for the alfalfa. With the bag, I was able to make the transition without wasting any food. It takes effort to get the food out of the bag, so they eat every tidbit they get out. I am going to order a couple more so I can load the bags ahead of time for easier feeding in the morning.I was a little leery of using the bag with alfalfa thinking that maybe the leaves would just fall through the bag and wind up all over the ground, but because my horse isn't throwing the bag around, the leaves stay put. Works equally well for alfalfa or grass hay. I have not tried it with oat hay.

I've used this product for a couple of months now and thought it was time to write my review. At first, I was very frustrated with this hay net. Looking back, I wasn't sure why, but if I had to guess, it'd be the long string used to tie it up. It got in the way a lot and I'd find myself getting caught up in it and tripping due to it's length. Now, that extremely long string is a godsend. It makes tying it up a lot easier if you don't have the proper 'hanging equipment'. The string is nice and thin, but not fragile, allowing my to wrap it around things much easier. I give my horses about three 4 inch flakes each feeding that would last them one hour w/o this hay net. Now, the same amount lasts them 5-6 hours! The hay nets have not broken or been damaged in any way so far. Would recommend and buy again!

These bags are great for 14-15 hand Arabian geldings. The holes are big enough for them to get a good mouthful of hay, but this stops them pawing through the hay and then discarding 30% of a hay bale when just tossed on the ground. The nets can hold about 25-30 pounds of hay. Then I hang them from a tree high enough so if horses get impatient and paw, they won't get their feet caught. We get 50-60 lb square bales. I'll take a full bale and set it on end, then pull one of these hay nets over top of it, flip the bale over and pull another hay net over the other side. Then lay flat and cut the hay strings. Viola, 1/2 bale in each hay net.We did replace the hanging string with heavier duty rope. My husband put a non-closing loop at one end of the rope, fed the rope through the top of the hay net, then back through the loop on the rope. Then he put a large knot at the end of the rope so it won't pull back through and unravel. The rope is long enough to let the bag fully open to go over the end of hay bale, but not so long that it's hard to handle or is too long for hanging from trees. We used these every day for 2 months until the grass came in. Now the boys are on pasture. The nets held up well and I'm looking forward to using them this winter. I recommend having twice as many as you'll put out at one time so you can have one set in the hay shed and just pick up empty nets when you put out full ones. Saves on back and forth if you have to haul your nets any distance.

I have 6 of these now so I can have 3 in the barn for feeding & 3 set to the side filled & ready to go. The horses like eating from the bags & they are sturdy - even tho they do not look sturdy, they are! The pull-string tie has broken on a couple of the bags so far so I tie it back up with a good knot. Not a huge deal for the price & durability of these bags.
