Durable, accurate size, smooth writing surface and the spring clasp opens and closes easily, yet holds paper firmly in place. I use them for holding art papers for drawing and painting, and love the hang tab so I can hang the wet painting on a wall hook to dry. Good price for so many boards and they are designed well with flat boards, no bowing nor warping even with wet art attached to them. Highly recommended.

These harder to find legal-size clipboards with low-profile clips are a good value for law offices and political campaigns. Perfect for collecting nomination signatures on legal-size nomination papers. Virtually indestructible. They'll last forever.

These clipboards are outstanding for legal-sized pads of about 60 sheets or less. We use specialized pads of exactly that size, which lack a solid backing. These clipboards are lightweight, really sturdy, and have a spring clip with a great balance of holding power and ease of opening. But I don't recommend them for very thick pads, as the clips will end up at an odd angle that won't provide the kind of grip it needs to retain the pad. But if you're using a pad that is not overly thick, I recommend it 100%.

The legal size clipboard is very convenient for taking notes on my lap while reading in a recliner. The low profile clip works fine for holding a standard or legal size pad, but is not quite deep enough to hold a loose sheet on top of the pad, such as when writing on the reverse side of a page.The standard metal clip hardboard, although slightly more expensive, would have been better for me. However, Amazon sent what I asked for so I'm not asking for a return.

These clipboards are of good quality. I bought them because I run a dart league and they always seem to come up missing. The price was right for these and hopefully don't disappear. Light weight but durable perfect for my application.

These are exactly what we needed. They have a small, low profile clip and are very sturdy. The clipboards with the bigger clip are difficult to store and they cover up a large area of the paperwork on them.

These don't have the "feel" of aluminum, but are great anyway. They are light, a plus for this size, but seem durable, and have very strong spring on the low-profile sheet holder, so that they safely and dependably hold multiple sheets.
