Purchased and used for a drop down tailgate ramp on a simple single axle utility trailer. Replaced original latches and fit perfectly. However, both latches broke within 5 mos. U-straps broke at bend in the same place. Appear to be weak / substandard metal or cracks in the metal at the bend. I would not buy again nor recommend. I’m looking for something else.

Bought these to replace the latches on my 5x8 karavan trailer had to make the mounting holes bigger not by much to fit the original hardware other then that they work as intended
