Put it on worked great the first few days then noticed it comes apart from the truck normal vibration lost the rod within the first week

The slot on the kitted actuator arm that interfaces with the transfer case is too loose. Causes the attachment nut to loosen and no longer work. I had to adapt to existing actuator arm made in the good ol USA to make it work.

I purchased this linkage for my Np231J T-case because I bent the stock arm lowering the transmission. This has worked perfectly. It was relatively easy to install and the quality and price is right.

My vechicle is Cherokee XJ 1989 with Transfercase 242 and doesn't fit.It needs addicional upper plate that the seller doesn't provide. If you have transfer case 242, check Azzy's design.Seller advertise the product for cherokee xj 1986-2001 and say specific that works with Transfer Case 242 but is not true.The seller didn't solve the issue. Don't recomend.

This is a very simple design that replaces the complicated and unreliable stock setup. This is one of the best upgrades I did you need to be able to keep your Jeep in four-wheel drive on the trail.

I wish you could shorten the linkage's total length down a little bit more but other than that works great.What I mean by that is that it shifts into 2H, 4H and neutral smoothly but I need to do some more modifications for it to shift into 4 Low.Still much better feeling than stock.
