Caution: Drain pan cover fits too close to drain due to thickness of structural integrity ribs. Water would not flow fast enough to prevent backup into shower pan. Yes, the actual drain under the decorative cover was installed correctly and was below flush with drain pan exit hole. Fixed by grinding 1-1/2 inch arches in a few of the ribs. Otherwise very well built product.

The Transolid Shower Pan that was purchased is a nice looking product.After it was installed, the finishing touch was to place the drain cover. Upon opening the “bubble wrap”, I found the corner of the cover was damaged. (I should have inspected contents at delivery). A phone call to the manufacturer got me nowhere.The customer service representative wouldn’t consider a replacement since I bought it from Amazon and said I would need to contact Amazon.Amazon’s Customer Service Representatives (3) were very helpful. In the end, a price adjustment was made since it was impossible to return the entire shower pan.The drain cover idea is a good concept, but, suds from shampoo and soap stop the water flow to the drain. I raised the cover which helps to some extent.I appreciate the reviews that are submitted by Amazon Customers.Therefore, I can not recommend this product.
