I lot of people ask why I spend the money on it. They're the one's trying to figure out how to do it with the deck boards on.I love this stuff. It's like having a free room.I took a short cut. Bent some flashing to cover the ends of the bays. Stop with 1" from it with the RainEcape. Cut little taps to help stuff slide out. I have had not issue doing it this way.I hope this help's you.

Easy to install (with the funnels of course). Worked well on our 12x12 deck. Make sure you use the butyl caulk (don't substitute). We didn't initially see that the caulk was placed in the same box as the troughs so we were scrambling to find butyl caulk in town, but couldn't. Thankfully we figured it out soon enough.

Nice product, very good quality, easy to install with butl product and staples.May require some cutting if your deck is not 16”.If this keeps my wood from rotting it is well worth the cost.
