The sound is good. When I play closed neva (all holes were closed) and open neva (only the back hole was closed) I get similar sounds. It means the instrument was tuned properly.It smells good and don't forget to put it in oil weekly.The diameter of the reed could be bigger and the baspare is plastic which I don't like. It could be wooden for that prize.It designed for holding the upper part of the instrument with left hand.

Thanks this is my first ney.Very good instrument. Recommended for people with long hands, I'm still trying to get some sound. I hope I can quickly overcome the first stage of learning to play it well.
