The texture for paper folding origami is good- it is on the thinner side but some folds require that.

The different colors are different types of paper and thicknesses, some like thin construction paper some others of a more standard printer paper consistency. None are good origami paper (certainly not for complex single paper stuff and the differing thicknesses cause issues for modular stuff)

I have purchased several origami "kits" over the years, and found that the small number of origami paper sheets included really inhibit me, which is not a good mindset for learning and practicing the meditative art of origami.This bulk package of many sheets AND many lovely colors is perfect! Very reasonable price, too. Even the box it comes in is fine for storing the remaining sheets when I'm finished finding the paper I will use for a project.The quality of the paper is good...takes the folds smoothly, and the little guys hold their shape appropriately after folding. The size is right for many, many origami projects--I love the tiny sized paper, but ohmygoodness it is hard to learn with--and requires no preparation before I can get started on a new pattern. I assume it is not acid free, since that isn't mentioned in the description, but impermanence, like imperfection, has its own value, and the colors and paper structure are holding up fine after several months.One reviewer mentioned that the paper is too thin to use for anything but origami, which would be ok with me, but I've included it successfully in layers on greeting cards I've made--it isn't thick like cardstock, but all layers do not have to be. I love this bulk pack.This is a real find!

Perfectly cut, vibrant colors and good quality paper. Perfect for a middle school project. The price was great for the number of sheets provided. The size helps manage the instructions well and gives a starting point without having to do additional work to prep the paper.

Came in many vibrant colors and already pre-cut to square shapes. My sisters 7 year old grandson is very artistic and this is his new obsession. Loves it

Thought it was 2 colors on one piece but it's the same on each side. Shame but still going to give it as a gift.
