I am pleasantly pleased with this product. I have been looking at these for a while and wondering if they actually work or not. I did my online research and decided to try it out. Now, I get up and move around a lot anyway, but I am a reader, so I decided to try this while reading. It goes on for 30 minutes and shuts off. I was skeptical of it as I wondered how it would help me while it was moving itself. Well, after the first 30 minutes, I felt the work in my legs. Mys son tried it to while doing schoolwork and he also felt a difference. Now I will be adding this into my exercise regimen probably mostly while reading for at least once a day. I know I still need to get in the walks and whatever else I can do, but this will only help. I like the compact design and its portability too. It fits my goals of getting fit and healthy and staying that way.

This mini elliptical has the look and weight/feel of a well-constructed, quality machine. It is not cheap or flimsy at all. It comes ready-to-use and with an instruction manual that is clear, comprehensive, and easy to understand. The digital display is easy to read. The various functions, modes, speeds, and direction can be controlled via the buttons on the unit or on the remote. There are four different "auto" modes which automatically cycle through two to five minute intervals of various speeds and directions (forward and backward) for a total of 30 minutes. The electric power provides a lot more assistance than I expected; I don't feel like I'm getting much of a workout because the pedals essentially move on their own and my legs are just along for the ride! The "manual" mode does not mean that you fully control the pedal motion with your legs; it's still assisted, you just specify the direction and speed rather than following one of the preset routines.I was pleased to find that the unit can be used without power, so the pedals move at whatever speed and direction your legs push them. However, there is no way to adjust the tension/resistance to make the workout easier or more difficult. When turned off, I find that it is very easy (no resistance) to pedal backwards (counter-clockwise), but very difficult (lots of resistance) to pedal forwards. The manual provides no instructions for changing this, nor have I been able to figure out any way to do so.It is definitely not silent. Even without power, don't expect to be able to pedal covertly. With the power/motor turned on, it's even louder, especially at the higher speeds. It's not loud or jarring, but it is definitely noticeable to everyone else in the room. I actually find the rhythmic sound to be calming. The pedals are large enough to fit almost any foot size with or without shoes. I typically use the elliptical barefoot and I find the plastic pedals to be comfortable on my skin.

Seems really well made and seems to work. I wish the cord was a bit longer, but I like that it can still be used if there is no power. The instructions are not comprehensive and not very helpful in figuring out how to use this. I'm really tech savvy and I got frustrated trying to figure out what to do. The explanation of the buttons makes sense, but I don't understand how to get it started. It has a remote, but there are no batteries included so I haven't tried it yet.I feel like there are much simpler options for this pricepoint. I also think that you can upcycle someone else's off of a reselling site. If I figure out how to get the features to work, I will update this listing.

Am I really exercising when this thing is running in auto mode? IT doesnt feel like it. But in Manual Mode, look out, woo thats some work.* Goes together and sets up easily.* Works fine for what it is.* Not too heavy.* Good value vs other brands.

The unit feels decently built, but I haven't been able to get a good workout with it. The rubber feet don't hold it on the carpet where I'm using it unless you are doing a very low force workout. Meanwhile just sliding the unit in place, two of the rubber feet pulled off (they can be easily reattached by unscrewing the mounts, replacing the feet, and screwing back in). The instructions are very minimal, and don't provide any guidance on setting up a good workout. There is an included remote (AAA batteries not included), but if you can't see the screen on the device, it isn't really helpful, and the screen is not installed so as to be easily visible when seated, so the whole setup process is awkward.

What a great product. My last peddler was just not angled properly. It only worked if you sat upright on the edge of the sofa which made it very uncomfortable to peddle. This machine is perfect. I can sit in any position and it is easy to peddle. Multiple speeds, and modes, portable, and solidly made. A great product.
