I bought this to take on a 750 mile trip back to my parents for independence day weekend, and thought it'd help lessen the fatigue the stock BMW seat has on my GS. Alas, I found this thing was honestly far more uncomfortable for my boney behind than just the bare seat, and for some reason it trapped heat inside, which meant it not only was uncomfortable but also was cooking my buns.After about 50 miles it got thrown in a hard case and hasn't gone back on since.

Cushion does as advertised. It allows air flow so on a hit day my seat stayed relatively dry. However, size was too small to cover my entire seat on the Spyder.

Amazing difference! Changed my motorcycle rides from a pain in the @ss (literally) to FREAK'N AWESOME!. Without this pad my back-side felt like I was sitting in a smoke'n hot frying pan after about 45 mins of riding. After I installed it, I went on a 200 mile ride and my butt was cool, comfy, & ready to do another 200 miles. Install was a breeze on my 96 Harley EG. The front strap slid over the front of my seat & the rear strap I simply wrapped around my rear bag guards on each side (5 mins & I was done). Didn't have to use the additional straps that came with it. The only thing bad I can say about it is that if you leave this pad in the sun without covering it, the gel inside soaks up & holds the heat & will fry yer @ss until you stop & get off so it can cool off (no biggie, I just cover it if I have to park in the sun). Not only does it stop the burning, it also cushions bumps along the way. Can't say enough good things about it. You won't be sorry!

I bought a new bike(gsx-8s), and it was too painful to ride after 20 mins because of my bony behind. After installing this seat cover, I have not felt a hint of pain while riding.Installing this will affect the riding position. This will probably be more impactful depending on the style of the bike. For me, I will look for a cushion with less overall thickness but still composed of the honeycomb rubber material because that stuff seems to work great. I just don't compress it enough to justify having such a thick cover.

This pad is really pretty comfortable, in use, a big improvement on the BMW seat (!), but it's already tearing apart after just a couple days' riding. I started with it in the cover, but it wouldn't stay in place with the cover on, so I took it off, using the straps provided for mounting it that way. Now, the cover is back on in hopes I can keep the pad intact for the rest of my trip. Not durable enough at all, I'm afraid.

I ride with my husband on our Suzuki and even though this seat cushion is for the driver it works for the passenger also. It does try to slide off in the back but with a little tweaking we can fix that. We can now ride well over 100 miles and I feel no pain.

This is the most comfortable seat pad I have tried. Better than any expensive seat, better than an airhawk pad. Just keep your original seat, and get one of these.
