I used this to replace a leaky gasket. Every time the toilet flushed it created a little puddle next to the toilet. The one thing I found that I did have to change out that was not supplied in the kit was the water filling hose. The hose that was on the toilet was a solid piece of copper about 12" from end to end. I found that this gasket was thicker than the original, so I thought that would cause the bowl to set a little higher on the seat than the original gasket did. I replaced that solid pipe with a 15" flexible hose so that it would adapt to any change in height.

This is a high quality set of toilet tank bolts and gaskets. The bolts are stainless steel and the gaskets seem to be high quality as well. The kit came with more than enough to accomplish the right fit. There were extra wing nuts and rubber washers. Worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

Mom's toilet tank started leaking again within an hour after the plumber drove away. A second visit by the plumber failed within a few days. As he left the second time, he said he did not want to cause the porcelain toilet tank to crack by tightening the nuts more. He suggested replacing the toilet.I purchased this bolt/gasket set because overtightening is unnecessary. I installed them myself. Look closely at the images. This bolt set stops the leak by pinching the bottom of the toilet tank between gaskets. It can't leak. The 3rd nut holds the toilet tank securely to the toilet bowl without overtightening.
