I have a pool cover that I have to work around a waterfall feature. This product allows me to secure the heavy pool cover while working around the extra feature. I attempted this previously with the smaller ones, and they could not hold up. These are holding my pool cover tightly.This year I also used them to connect 2 clear tarp covers around my pool equipment. They worked well here also. The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to open the jaws wider and allow for a deeper insertion of whatever tarp you are securing. It would have been preferential to secure to the thicker strapping of my pool cover, than to bite into the cover itself. The clips are of good quality. They are easy to use. A good value for the money

Bought these clips to secure a shade cloth around my raised planter bed. Was using those large plastic pinch type clips but the sun here is brutal in the summer. Those black plastic clips were failing right and left! These tarp clips are strong and easy to attach and mount on the overhead frame. If you are considering this item, you have my recommendation!

Tried a couple different kinds and theses are the only ones that worked good for me. I used 4 on each side (8 total) so that I would not be stressing my canapy and I could pull it nice and tight. Get Xtra because you can use them other ways for other stuff. Trust me you will think of some ways to use them. They are Very wide and strong.

Love love these! Needed to secure my shade sail that's over my daughters swing set. I was using the round spike clips that snap close to hold it down and that was a fail! These clips are doing amazing! So far it's been about a month and they are holding strong, no issues!

I love these clips for use on tarps, the wider gripping area helps to disperse the load so there is less chance of tearing. In addition, the locking system allows you to open them wide enough for multiple surfaces and adjust them to just the amount of tightness you choose as appeased to a spring type lock.The Caribiners are a little bit lightweight but will work for most applications. I would get heavier ones if you want to use them on major tie-down points.I had one defective Carabiner latch spring on delivery but the seller actually compensated me back more in a partial refund than the value of just one of them when I reached out the the seller.Overall I am very happy with the product, the price and the seller!

I ordered these clips after I bought the Everbilt ones from Home Depot and I am impressed with how robust they are. They are wider and heavier than the Everbilt ones. Different clamping method using a thumb screw to bring the 2 sides together compared to a sliding pull down to bring the 2 sides together. They came with carabiner clips for each clamp. Work out to about $2.17 each set of clip and carabiner before tax. These are big 10 x 12 ft tarps I put them on and they seem to be holding on well.
