This is not a direct replacement. It has metric threads 8MMx1.25 and the OEM has SAE 5/16 threads. Ran to town, bought metric nuts and got it installed. Worked for 2 days & then both of the steering dampners threads stripped out. So all my efforts were for nothing. Don't waste your time or money on these.

These were a perfect fit and acted just the way i would expect. Not too fast or too slow. Did not know mine were wore out till i tried these new ones. Feels like a new mower. Being that they are a pair, the resistance is equal so you dont get sidways off the get go. I would recommend these when you think one of your old ones is questionable. Very good quality.
